15+ years ago, the both of us worked at Piggly Wiggly. On my first day as cashier, Josh asked me out. He was only 16 at the time and I was seeing someone else, so I had to turn him down. We lost touch over the years. Both of us married other people, but those relationships ended around the same time. As we were going through that tough time in our lives, we came back in contact through facebook. Neither of us thought anything would come of it other than friendship, but we had an instant connection and eventually fell in love. And now here we are almost 16 years later and we are getting married. We believe that God had a plan for us all along. We had to go live our seperate lives in order to prepare us for each other and the life we would have together.

Both of us were told by doctors that we could not have children without fertility treatments. But surpise....on July 26, 2014 we welcomed a beautiful bundle of joy to our family. He has changed our lives in so many ways and we are so thankful to have him!
