For our first epic journey as Husband and Wife we will be staying at Walt Disney World for 11 nights, from August 31st to September 11th. Our hotel will be the Port Orleans French Quarter resort (pictured above), inspired by the picturesque qualities of New Orleans during Mardi Gras. 

Seven of our glorious days will be spent visiting the theme parks and water parks of Walt Disney World, with special attention to Ashley's love of Beauty and the Beast. Several dinners have already been planned for the Be Our Guest restaurant, as well as Cinderella's Royal Table inside the massive castle of the Magic Kingdom, and the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian resort. 

For a few days, we'll be exploring areas beyond Walt Disney World to see other sights in central Florida. One day will take us to Universal Studios, where Ashley is excited to see 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' and Cory is keen on visiting Jurassic Park. Another day will take us to St. Augustine, renowned as the oldest city in the United States. Settled by the Spanish, it has a long history preserved in colonial-era forts and museums with genuine pirate artifacts. Then we will take an airboat tour of the Everglades to see birds, alligators, and other Floridian wildlife.
