Jada and I met in our first class of our first year at Goshen College. We were assigned to line up at the front of the class in alphabetical order by the first letter of our names. I being an "H" and her a "J" and no "I" to fill between we were placed next to each other. We were then instructed to "interview" the person next to us for the next 5 minutes and then give a brief introduction on that person to the class.

Jada had on Batman converse and I was instantly intrigued. For those that don't know, Batman is a kind of hobby for me. We spoke and asked questions. I learned she was from Canada, and had horses. She learned I was from Pennsylvania and loved Batman.

After that class eventually we started having meals together, hanging out in each others dorm room yada yada yada...

We started officially dating December 7, 2011. Summer of 2012 I moved up to Boissevain, Mb for the summer to work at the International Peace Gardens with Jada. 

After another year at Goshen, we decided it was time for a change.

Summer of 2013 Jada moved home, and I stayed behind to finish up working for the summer and then I was to join her.

She ended up surprising me and proposing on July 18th, 2013.

I moved up with her to Winnipeg, MB in August 2013 and that brings us to now.
