Originally they met at Applebees during Thanksgiving Break 2011. After being intrigued by Jenn, Phil insisted that she be invited to his New Year's party. During the party Phil did his best to spend time with Jenn and make a lasting impression on her. At the end of the night Phil walked Jenn out to her car and asked for her number. She smiled and gave her number. 

The rest is history.
